It’s easier to write you’re sad.
When things don’t happen the way you imagined them to be and you’re hating on everyone including yourself, you’ll no longer think about what to write, or how you should write it. Sadness gives you the kind of freedom to be at your most honest when you’re upset. You don’t have time to sugarcoat your words to make them sound good, or less hurtful so you tune in to the sadness that’s around you and vomit up everything on Tumblr. You write from your heart, in the hopes that someone out there understands where you’re coming from. And every comment, and every like on your blog entry’s like a tap on your shoulder saying “You’re not alone.”
